Back to School Mornings

After making two breakfasts
Because one will only eat cereal
One needs meat

And two packed lunches
Because it is better for them both to have home food
Not fast food

After cleaning one kitchen
And two goodbye kisses

My head is too tired
My senses too wired

To sit in solitude
And find my poetic thoughts
