Under the new MPP my earnings from Medium are down by 50%! So, it is a bummer. I do not always have a “longer post” in me — but I try to, and they are the ones that are top of my “earnings” list — sadly, under the old MPP I was doing really well with poetry, and it was amazing! So, now, yes I have to do other things — I have a Patreon page — a poem a month! And I am working hard to get a few books out — that is important and will help me with the confidence I need to start going to readings etc…….
now is it worth it to post poetry here? Yes it is. Because we are wonderful. And it is fun, and it is a great community and a safe space to learn and grow and keep writing and we would love to see your poetry!
