Oh yes. I felt this. I feel this. My daughter has the SAME name as my narcissistic abusive bully ex — it is a huge mess and really, well let me say I spent 15 or so years as a Lesbian and this experience of bullying and aggression from a woman — she was always so intent on pushing her power on me and making sure even though I carried the baby, gave birth to the baby, was primary stay at home mom for this baby, that she just got to stamp her name and control over everything — and I am still dealing with that today, court Monday, more fighting for control, not really caring about as you said, the best interests of the child, etc — when I see my daughter’s name I get PTSD and I wish to God I did not have to go through that, or she could just …change her own name,….maybe someday. And I say change their names because you are actually and fully free — blessings! — but that costs money and is annoying AF having had to go through it myself, — I am thinking of you, you are amazing ❤
