Thank you! It’s wonderful to feel like I’ve said something that matters to people who matter to me. I read the work of the big money makers and I don’t see much wow or wise or omg worth big money etc I just see more and more of the same- we want awesome here, we want art and heart, we want the feeling of community not the push to idol worship — some of the big money folks have 35–55 etc K followers and follow 100 or less people — that’s not community! It’s another topic for another day, but it’s related — Medium can be and do better than be this money making star culture for a handful of meh — it can be a real ground up fair artistic give and take share and care learn and grow space for all of those sort of left out of the big wig world of writing — and a leg up and way in to get to some really good opportunities for writing and getting your voice heard.
