Yes! It’s disingenuous writing when we all know what makes money on Medium is writing stories promising to help others make money on Medium- I have a piece started on this but it is just making me too upset to finish lol — the “green industry” aka talking about making money is what makes that person money — it is selfish and exploitative- the ultimate neoliberal event: getting people in with a falsehood and making your big money from that and then writing about it like its something else (aka as you said: write more, get curated, use publications, yawn!) — then they write a piece saying they aren’t doing this aka they aren’t using people etc. sigh.
