❤ yes, yes, and yes. I did not have a ‘childhood’ of play and joy but somehow I managed to carry around my traumatized inner child and I treat her pretty well now — when I am with kids, kids come to me, they talk with me, we have a connection — I still find it hard to play, and to be …purely joyful but my spirit connects with children and babies in a way that they can feel as this person supports me and understands me and knows what I am going through — now to learn to play more, dance more, be a bit more free in whatever it is my inner child never got to do but could still try! Thanks for this lovely piece, you are amazing, always, and I am grateful to know you and share this space with you — poetry sometimes is my inner child playing ❤
